ABOUT
Midnight Rush...took on a rebranding effort in 2021 which changing the scheme of the tournament to a pyramid , 3 tiered system. This idea was inspired from Ron Cloud's TPC, which had a very similar style.
Top Tier - Champions
Consist of 1 league with 14 owners. There will be a complete 13 game round-robin during the regular season with 6 teams making the playoffs. A minimum 2 owners move down each year and up to 4 owners, dependent on criteria met or not by non-playoff winners within the middle tier regions.
Middle Tier - Jim Mora's Convention
Consist of 2 leagues with 28 owners. There will be a complete 13 game round-robin during the regular season with 6 teams making the playoffs. A minimum 2 owners (could be up to 4) will move up to the Top Tier each year and a minimum 4 owners (could be up to 8) move down to the Lower Tier, dependent on criteria met or not by non-playoff winners within the other respective regions.
Lower Tier - Cowboy Stadium Demolition Crew (CSDC)
Consist of 2 leagues with 28 owners. There will be a complete 13 game round-robin during the regular season with 6 teams making the playoffs. A minimum 4 owners (could be up to 8) will move up to the Middle Tier each year, dependent on criteria met or not by non-playoff winners within the other respective regions.
Schedule - The region within each tier will still be seeded based on last year's results. The regular season will consist of 14 weeks. The seeding of owners will dictate the timing of when owners play each other. Each owner will play each of the first 13 teams within the first 13 weeks of the season. The regular-season conclude with a unique format of playing based on your W-L record against the similar W-L foe. The schedule will go as the following: 1 vs 2, 3 vs 4, 5 vs 6, 7 vs 8, 9 vs 10, 11 vs 12, 13 vs 14. This was our compromise to the NFL bye weeks going through week 14 with the expanded 18 NFL weeks. with a week of . The playoffs will follow weeks 15-17.
Region Playoffs - The playoffs will consist of six teams. The seeding will goes as the following:
A. #1 seed (the top overall bye in the 1st round) would be awarded to the overall best record - remains unchanged
B. #2 seed (the final bye in the 1st round) would be awarded to the highest remaining team in standings pts according to the Rush Standings Pts.
C. Seeds 3 thru 5 would be awarded to the next three best records (tie breakers are using the normal Rush Tiebreakers that are a little different than ESPN default)
D. Seed 6 would be awarded to the highest remaining teams in standings pts according to the Rush Standings Pts (following the four other playoff seeds are awarded).
The top two seeds will be rewarded a first-round bye (taken place over week 15). The first round, matchups are as of the following: #4 vs #5 & #3 vs #6. The semi-finals, taken place over week 16, where the winners of the 4/5 match will play the #1 seed & the 3/6 will play the #2 seed. The championship, taken place over week 17, where the winners of the two semifinal matchups will play.
Roster - Each owner's roster consist of 17 players: 11 starting positions and 6 bench positions. Additionally, there will also be 3 injured reserved (IR) positions.
Starting lineups---QB, RB, 2 flex's, 2 WR, TE, DL, LB, DB, DP
The uniqueness of this league is that there is no kicker and no team defense, instead individual defensive players (IDPs). In 2018, a rule change instituted an additional defensive players, adding a defensive back (DB), and increasing the total defensive player array to four players. The defensive player flex (DP) position can be used to start any of the defensive positions.
Rush Tie Breakers
Rush Tie Breakers (outlined below) are used to determine playoff seeding, instead of ESPN default tie-breakers.

General Rules
Scoring:
* PPR (1 pt per reception)
* 0.05 pt per 1 yd RECEIVING, 0.1 pt per 1 yd RUSHING, 0.04 pt per 1 yd PASSING
* 6 points for all touchdowns scored
* Fractional scoring
* 3 pts sacks, 5 pts interception, 2 pts fumbled rec, 3.5 pts forced fumble
* All other scoring details can be found in the league settings
Waiver Wire:
* 24-hour waiver rule
* The first waiver run of each week begins 3am ET Tuesday
* Free Agent Bidding (FAAB) will be used for waiver priority
* Each team will be given $100 of free agent spending
* Minimum bid is $0 for free agent spending during the waiver period
* Players will lock from being added or dropped at game-time of the individual player
Determining the Draft Order:
* Owners get to picked their draft position based on a predetermined order
* Going in chronological order (in accordance to the predetermined order), owners will have the chance to pick their draft position based on the remaining draft positions left
* The predetermined order shall be performed by the Commissioner prior using a draft order generator.
Trading:
* Owners may trade draft picks prior to the draft being held
* All trades that have been accepted must go through a 24-hour trade review period
* No exceptions will be made for the 24-hour trade review period
* Commissioner has sole veto power over trades
* Trades must be fair and collusion between two or more owners is prohibited
* Trading deadline is the week before the playoffs begin
